We developed the Identity and branding for Diaita‘s first Symposium on nutrition, traceability and communication.

The two day event took place on the 12th and 13th of December 2008, in the Yellow Hall of Palazzo dei Normanni in Palermo, and was attended by many professionals from various fields, as well as by everyone interested on the topics of the Mediterranaen diet and product traceability.

DIAITA is a no-profit association with the Mission of creating synergies between six different areas Professional (nutrition, communication, healtcare, sports, psychology, philosophy) linked by studies on diaetetica, with the classical meaning of anything that deals with health and is used to set up a lifestyle.

[Nu] Energy & Consulting. Naming, corporate identity and website design.

Logotype // Naming

The logotype that’s been developed references, among other things, phonetics. Apparently abstract, if hides different meanings. The name is easy to remember, and is pronounced as the english word “new”. But taken singularily, the first letter  is pronounced En, short for Energy, while the letter “U” recalls Universal.

Nu is also the thirteenth letter of the greek alphabet, so there is also a reference to it’s representation in physics (wave frequency) and financial mathematics.

Pay Off

Energy & Consulting: the pay-off clarifies the field of the company, Energy Consulting, but also includes simple Consulting or anything that is Energy-related.
